I'm looking forward to the map with the 40 mile scale.  I use my desktop for AE and look at google earth on my laptop as an aid.

Next three are close seconds, waypoints, sub & asw patrol areas.

I'm also very interested in the tracker as well.  I currently don't use this and am waiting for AE to start.  My son thinks I'm nuts to enjoy a game that requires me to use spreadsheets.

Open seas interceptions.
If you gained knowledge through the forum, why not putting it into the AE wiki?

Ability to shadow, pursue and intercept? Wooooo....that would be a logical step forward in a naval game.

The Ability to Mass Produce Oscars with 20 mm's  or Tojos with 4x 20 mm.

This can enable a massive increase in the Army Fighter capabilities from  Early war.

Actually it might be easier to do something close to those things in Stock than in AE at least early on.

The ability to play it!

There are so many new features in AE that it is truly difficult to pick any single one out, so for me the top one would probably be the new map, since it it closer to UV in scale and I definitely preferred the UV scale. Besides, I'm a map freak (have a file cabinet dedicated to nothing but maps and it has overflowed and filled a cardboard file box...[8|]).

For me all of the above plus maybe, just maybe, the end of the leader bug. Please?

In the last week in two of my games Shinano has gotten itself captained by a Brit, and the ship is halted in the build list over 1000 days out. Woos' Decoder reminds me to "fix it" every time I load a turn. Gotta love it!

Well, at least that Brit can claim that he's no traitor!

Here he manages to get appointed commander of the IJN's soon to come monster carrier and what does he do? Sabotage her construction... Good show!

The new adjusted air-combat model with more realistic kill-rates.
Easier (=more[:)]) mid-ocean intercepts.

Patrol boxes for my subs, so I don't have to try and remember which ones were spotted and move them one hex.

Also more slots to divide air units or stop penalizing whole air groups by not repairing ac.
