The only dialog other than people's names that I could make out was "uchimasu", or "I'll hit".
I wanted to see that movie when I was in Japan a few months back, but it wasn't playing any more... (*Edit: I got my movies mixed up -- this one is a drama about a training school; the one I wanted to see was a documentary interviewing Japanese pilots and American "targets". There is an English-language version out: Wings of Defeat).
Delete the trackerdb.* files.
Copy the pwsdll.dll file from the game folder to the WitPTracker folder.
Try running the WitPTracker.bat again.

That movie has a load of CGI in it. I heard the effects were very good, the acting not so much . . .

Wow. I'm impressed. Those special effects guys did a really good bang up job.
I would love to see a "Making the Movie" special on this one.

I think there is real war footage background stuff mixed in with the CGI.....they have done a good job anyway.

Just shows the futility of sending out kids in crappy a/c against hopeless odds.

Hi all,

What is the name of the movie this is from?

BTW, it is great to see that Japanese are starting to make war movies (few years ago it was "Otoko Tachi No Yamato")!

Just shows the futility of sending out kids in crappy a/c against hopeless odds.

10% of all dedicated kamikazies sent out hit something.

10% of the US Navys total losses in WWII were at Okinawa. 1100 Kamikazies were used. They had to fly hundreds of miles over open ocean to reach their targets. For Olympic. the Japanese were preparing over 10,000 and they would have been over the landing beaches without the hundreds of miles of open ocean to see them coming and get CAP into position to intercept.

Probably the single biggest reason Truman decided to drop the bombs.

Hmmm, I don't know.

I'm afraid they won't show the the bravery of US-Soldiers, their firing accuracy, their will to fight, their idealism, their spirit, their courage, their inspiratrion and not to forget their lack of food, fuel, ammunition, spares, troops and simply every 'material' as realistic as Hollywoodmovies. Perhaps they even dare to show heroic Japanese soldiers??[X(]

I don't know... the "Otoko Tachi No Yamato" is very anti-war and very anti-Japan-militarism... I think that this new one "Ore wa Kimi no tameni koso, shini ni iku" is the same...

BTW, I think that USA is portraited 100% faceless... the US serviceman are just some enemy soldiers fighting...

I think they are flying Oscars. As Escorts, you also see Tonys.
