Keep my daughter in your prayers.

Post by redwolf1 »

Had to send my five year old little girl in an ambulance to the hospital due to extreme abdominal pain every 5-10 min in the early afternoon. Had similar symptoms on Wednesday (doctors thought bladder infection), but this time much worst. Running tests on her and they don't know what is wrong. She is still in much pain (many hours later). My wife is with her at the hospital. I am trapped at home with baby son in a snowstorm and feeling very useless.

Please send out a prayer for Julia.

Thanks.

Michael

My goodness.

Did they check for e-coli, botulism, salmonella, campylobacter or other foodborne illnesses?

Had she eaten beef, poultry, green onions, lettuce, or leftovers?  Did she eat raw cookie dough?

I'm sure they had to have checked, so we will just have to see.  I hope all is well.

Of course you can count on our prayers as well. I pray for a quick recovery from the pain and that she will be totally healed and return home soon.

How is she doing today? Have they been able to ease any of the pain?

My thoughts and prayers are with Julia. My hope is that it's nothing very serious and she's back home in time for Christmas.

Hope all is well and she's up and feeling better shortly.  Just remember - kids for some reason seem to be tougher and more resilient then us.  Of course it also tears us up just as bad if not worse whenever they've got anything wrong.

Best wishes and prayers

I am touched by all the kindness found here. Thank you.

Update: My daughter had life-saving surgery two nights ago and is recovering at Children's Hospital in Vancouver (she had to be rushed there from our local hospital). Turns out she had an extremely rare complitication related to appendicitus where her appendix attached itself to her small intentine and wound itself around it pinching it off like an elastic band. She is recovering now in hospital with mommy and daddy, but is sore (as to be expected). Santa paid a visit during the night (the generousity of this hospital is so touching!). She will probably be here a few more days if all goes well. We got our Christmas wish - our daughter is alive and should be well soon.

Wishing you all a Merry Christmas!

Michael and family
