I have the serial number.

Where is the digital download section so I can re-download the game?

Hi Chris, you need to contact Matrix directly, perhaps Erik? He should be able to help with that kind of thing.

I appreciate the help but there is one problem.

I go to the store and enter the information. It says I need to allow cookies to download. I reset my browser to allow all cookies. I even delete the existing files in the cookies folder and the store still prompts me to 'allow cookies'. Is there a way around this?

That is odd. What type of browser are you using?

There has to be something I can do. I'be been PM'd by another customer and he recommended uninstalling and reinstalling my browser.

Look, I've set my browser to allow all cookies and I've even deleted my cookies folder as recommended by the error message.

I've been a customer of Matrix for 7 years and I've purchased about $1,000 worth of product. I've paid for the digital download service which includes the ability to re-download any game I've purchased.

I want my goddamn game!

There has to be a better way to get around this than me having to muck about my hard drive and uninstalling and reinstalling browsers.

Maybe I should consider taking my business to another game company.

A little help here! Huh, Matrix?

Chris,

This sounds like an issue with the Digital River download service rather than with Guns of August the game. The folks most likely to be able to help you might not read this GoA gameplay forum at all (remember that there are dozens of game-specific forums on this site!).

There is some info on dowloads and cookies here:
https://www.digitalriver.com/dr/sat5/ec ... 10107&PN=1

The Digital River helpdesk is here:
https://www.digitalriver.com/dr/sat5/ec ... 0107&pn=11

The Matrixgames helpdesk can be contacted here:
http://www.matrixgames.com/helpdesk/

I hope this helps you to get your issue resolved - Matrix are usually pretty diligent about fixing customer problems, once they are aware.

Regards,
-von Schmidt (also a customer)

I suggests a workaround.

Instead of tampering around with your installed software try installing Mozilla Firefox and download your game?
Hit them where they aren't

I actually had this problem with Gary Grigsby's A World Divided. Eventually, customer service was able to rectify the issue. Try contacting
webhelp@digitalriver.com .

Good luck.

Chris,

Sorry for the severe delay in my reply. Frank called this to my attention, but it got lost in the holiday shuffle and our extremely reduced holiday staffing did the rest.

There's no problem with Internet Explorer 7. Our store works fine with it, it's a good browser now that it's been patched up. It does sound like you need help with your cookie settings though and the best help for that is from the store support. If you e-mail me at erikr@matrixgames.com with your order info I'll forward you to them personally and make sure you get an answer today.

Regards,

- Erik
