Sniper ammo

I bought a sniper rifle but havent seen any ammo for it yet? Ken7[&:] The ammo is 7.62.54

It´s called 7.62x54R and you can buy it at the store or pick it up after battle. When you buy a gun and go to the cart section of that site you will be able to see all equiptment that fit that rifle in the right column, ammo and sights and suchlike. Beware though, the AP and OC ammo is mislabled and you should use the red ones even if they are called OC. Might be fixed in the latest patch, haven´t had time to check myself. Could anyone else confirm this?

Well, I think he might mean that this ammo hasn't shown up for purchase at Dickie Jay's or found on the battlefield as loot. I know the feeling.

So it's the color of the x54 ammo we should go by, not the labeling? Thanks for that bit of info. I've been wanting to know that for quite some time.
