map scale

What is the map scale in detailed combat (distance from hex to hex)? I thought I had seen it somewhere long ago and now can't find it in the manual.

Maybe Eric or Z can chime in here, but I recall that each hex is about 100-150 yards.

Yes, around that. Though with gun ranges it's a bit abstracted, with the assumption that units are firing from the edge of the hex rather than the center.
