Encountered and "Invalid Serial Number" Error

I attempted to install my game and I received an invalid serial number message.

Here is the details of my order...

Order Date: 28-NOV-08

I attempted to access the knowledge base and submit a question, but I encountered errors there as well.

Can this be escalated to helpdesk via this forum?

You really should not put your serial number up on the forum. Actually you should not put up any of this info.

As you should be able to determine, posting this information with my question is the only way I can get any kind of support for this product.

And where is the login link for this forum? All login links should be clearly posted and ready to use. I had to guess the login url!

It appears that the support offered my Matrix Games is sub-standard and I am demanding satisfaction and complete support. My demands begin here with this post. Or, I will take other action.

What problems do you encounter with submitting a Help Desk ticket?

I encountered an error message with each submission. And the knowledge base was ineffective.

On the contrary, Matrix Games has a support problem and a severe one at that.

Am I expecting that this issue receive escalation and full attention. Otherwise, I will initiate other action.

Suddenly all my games are getting an invalid serial number error with error -1073741819.  I have a support ticket in, but have only seen the standard Uninstall reboot and reinstall.  With a day between ability to contact them, this might take forever to get fixed.

Do you run Vista on your pc ?

I encountered same issue with CotA some weeks ago. What solved it for me was re-installing the game in WinXP compatibility mode.

I discovered late last night that I needed to change new installs/reinstalls to compatibility mode.  The ones already installed work fine.  Thank you for answering, however.
