Napoleon in Italy 1.1 Public Beta Now Available!

Post by Greg Wilcox »

Hi everyone,

The v1.1 Update is now available as a Public Beta via our Members Club. While we do final testing we figured we'd offer you a change to get it early as well. This is still a beta, but it's stable and solid as far as we can tell. Barring any major issues being found, it will become the official update.

You can download this as a Registered Download as long as you have registered your Napoleon in Italy serial number in our Members Club (click on the MEMBERS link in the top nav bar).

Change list
Features and Enhancements
o Payment to troops removed from unit info screen (leftover from For Liberty!, not relevant in NII)
Standard Fixes
o Fixed a bug in defending general selection, now the best defense value leader is selected
o The movement point cost of stance changes was incorrectly calculated
o A Few minor bug fixes
AI Fixes and Enhancements
o Improved AI behavior for sieges
o Improved AI objective selection
o Some further minor AI improvements

Thanks for the update, is it an official update now?And does it come with the download? If it's similar to F.L. it should be a  fun game.
Thanks

The update is not official yet.

The game is similar to "For Liberty!". There is no recruitment in NII, just reinforcements. The main difference of course is the setting, the Italian campaign is a shorter, focused effort with about equal forces.
