Would the people in the know know if any new screenies are in the pipe line?

There isn't that much new stuff to show, really. The vast majority of things we're fiddling with at the moment are under-the-hood stuff.

There are the new colored icons and the LCU map icons with arrows showing where the unit is marching to. There haven't been much in the way of changes to the various pop up screens in several months.

What the heck. Here is a shot from my "in Defense of Morseby" A2A test. It started as a benchmarking of the P-39/Kittyhawk vs. A6M-21 and the Rikko units from Rabaul. As you can see, it has turned into a full-fledged Coral Sea...

Image
SBDs from Yorktown and Lady Lex get roughed up a bit By CARDIV 5 CAP over the invasion force. They still scored heavily on the fat, plodding xAPs and escort.

Image
The Tainan Ku S-1 out of Lae and S-2 out of Rabaul, coordinate with the Genzan Ku K-1 on Nells and 4th Ku K-1 on Bettys, to give the PM defenders hell. Final tally is 4 Zekes lost (half in the first pass) to 5 fighters from PM going down. Break out below...

Japanese aircraft
A6M2-21 Zero x 33
G3M2 Nell x 19

Allied aircraft
Kittyhawk IA x 10
P-39D Airacobra x 16

Japanese aircraft losses
A6M2-21 Zero: 4 destroyed, 3 damaged

Allied aircraft losses
Kittyhawk IA: 3 destroyed, 4 damaged
P-39D Airacobra: 2 destroyed, 10 damaged
IN PERPETUUM SINGULARIS SEDES

TheElf is the only god, and Terminus is his prophet.
Or the other way around.
Or there may be many gods though.
Or something like that.

Awesome still ^^

Just a map question though... I see there's no Dobodura in the current map? I guess it got mixed together with Buna right?
(just say so, cuz in my stock game I find somehow frustrating to see my guys walk for 15 days before reaching Dobodura from Buna, so I won't complain about that [:D] )

Another Map question. I don't see DOTS. Is that change, are there no DOT bases? Looking at Woodlark Is, for example, is that buildable base? Don't see a DOT there.

Or maybe there aren't Dots? Maybe everything is a "Dot", just not buildable? Or they are hidden from view?

What's the orange dashed line signify between Port Moresby and Lae?  A zone of control boundary, perhaps?

Dots are still in. TheElf is running a test scenario in which all unneeded bases have been removed from the database.

Orange lines = country borders.

The orange dashed line separates the Territory of Papua from the Territory of New Guinea. Not really an international border (both territories controlled by Australia), so the line is dashed.

Just some eye candy...

Looks to me like the boundary between Australian New Guinea, and the Australian-controlled UN Mandate (formerly German NG).

Or something else maybe?

Looks like no Daru on the map either? Or is that another dot that has been removed for the test run?

Reef changes in Torres Strait look great BTW.
