Somthing rared about aircraft leaders

Post by galex »

In the description of aircraft leaders,
Some of them were said to be suitable for a fighter group, and some other were said to be suitable for a bomber group.
Does this matter if I choose a leader who is suitable for a fighter group to lead a bomber group?
What is the actual affect of this description?anyone konws?thanks

"Suitable to lead" isn't really worth bothering with.

aggression greater than 60 = fighter group
aggression between 40 and 60 = bomber group
aggression less than 40 = patrol or transport

or something like that (tied to agression, and fighter is over 60, I do remember that).

Anyway, for me, my primary considerations are:
1.  Fighters need air-to-air skill, aggression is useful, but not as important as skill.
2.  Bombers I want high agression (to make it more likely that they finish the mission, even with losses).

The higher the Inspiration rating you can find helps keep aircraft flying and pilot morale high. For bombers I try to find leaders with good ground rating also.

And I think "Inspiration" adds for training as well, correct?  So if you've got a squadron that's you're training up (likely thru bombing old enemy AF), a high inspiration rating will help them gain exp faster.
