Serial #

Post by shoopzee »

After buying this title when it first came out, and having no previous experience with the board game, i'm now ready to jump back in, give it a go with most recent patch installed. Hoping to get the hang again with patched V against the ai, then move on to a PBEM with some newbie's like me. My problem is I lost my serial number issued when I purchased the game. Any suggestions, so I can get patched up to snuff. Thanks Shoopzee.

Also how much has the game been improved by patching since the first release. I have anly played the unpatched orginal. Thanks again.[;)]

If you downloaded it, you can search your inbox for Matrix and there should be a copy of the Serial Number there. Hope that helps.

Did you register it, if so, you can request your serial in the member menu.
If you have it still installed, i think you might have a file in the gamefolder named serialreg.

If you've lost your serial number then your only recourse is to go back to Matrix (click Support at the top of their webpage).

Unless you're hoping someone here will a. tell you how to hack the program or b. Give you their serial number [:-]

If the game is already installed, you can find the serial number in one of the games files.  I forget which one.

I'm not aware of any game files that have it but my memory is not indefinite???
Best thing is to go back to Matrix support.

Go to your install folder and open it. One of the text documents looks like this;

serialreg
Text Document
1kb

open it and you will see your serial number.
