Invisible Amphibious Assaults

Post by bigrock »

Units landing via the amphibious assault procedure are often not visible untill moved. But it is hard to move them when you can't find them.

In the 1939 Poland scenario I have also had the problem of an invisible defender.  The amphib unit lands fine, likewise the airborne unit.  No defender is visible in Copenhagen, but you take huge casulties if you try to move in.

Danes lacked enough troops to cause anyone any damage!! They didn't even resist?!!

Royal Danish Army in 1940 contained 2 infantry divisions. Denmark capitulated to Germany after 2 hours of fight.

bigrock - you're saing that YOUR own units are invisible after amphib landing? Could you send a saved game from the turn just before the landing so that I can replicate the problem on my PC and fix it.

ebitt - as far as I understand you're saying that ENEMY units are invisible after amphib landing / paradrop? I can confirm this. It's a bug, and will be fixed in  1.20

Yes, enemy units are invisible unless Sweden has joined the Axis.
