Stalingrad or Moscow?

Post by desert »

Anyone here who doesn't mind playing the Soviets or processing over 9,000 turns a day?

If you're still looking then I'd be interested in giving this a go... Don't know that I could do 9,000 a day, perhaps 4 or 5,000 [8D]

You can reach me at grahame at grahamecurtis dot com.

Cheers,
Grahame.

Looks new to me. Can you provide any  more details about this scenario? DL'd it but looks like it's still a work in progress? Cheers.

It's a complete Silvanski™ mod. It can't get much better than that!

Anyway, this is a mod of the Operation Blau scenario by Brian Topp that comes with TOAW 3. It is a 32-turn scenario, full-week turns, and 25km per hex.

Short story: I gave the Soviets massive losses on Turn 1, and partisans screwed with my rail lines.

And a couple of rail repair battalions got bashed around a bit [:'(] I'm expecting that we're going to take another hammering this turn too though...[:(]

It's a neat scenario in the Brian Topp 4-part Eastern Front series at 20/25Km scale; besides the obvious battles in the south where the Germans are strong there are other sectors of the front line which should be watched carefully, like the Demyansk-Rhzev sector

I was looking at that while playing around with the scenario. I was into turn 2 when I noticed the Guerrilla's playing havoc in the rear. Interesting

This is going to be one slow long thought out scenario for me! I'm getting a headache just thinking about all my possible moves and what might be made against me. Grr!!!

Best advice I can give you: NOTES!

For every scenario I play I write NOTES! Ideas, where reinf. will go, important issues to not overlook etc...

Are you talkign about your Operation Blau 4.0 AAR, or have you done one for his specific scenario?

Oh, nope sorry no for this, but as I assume changes were not dramatically for PBEM only for PO play?
