This new forum software sucks - at least trying to use it with Firefox... half the time i get errors trying to use the smileys, and i have problems trying to get a message to post...[:@] [:@] [:@]

The Thread III is completely gone...

Well... our "THE THREAD" was always the biggest (and thus the problem for the forum software) so, as it happened before, it simply didn't survive the forum upgrade change... C'est la vie my friends...

I use both MS Internet Explorer (v7.0) and Firefox (v3.0) in everyday browsing both at work and at home - but for the Matrix forums I only use MSIE...

Yeah, well, the extended smileys don't work with IE7 either... i am guessing they are gone.

Ha, my 5070 posts have been reduced to 1216.  I guess the bulk of my posts were in THE THREAD III.  [:D]
 
Maybe they are just not completed with the migration to the new software, and our legacy will be restored.  [8|]

I think it's a load of crap that THE THREAD is that big of a problem for the forum software. [:-]

It only ever has to display 30 posts at a time. The rest is just stored in the database behind the forum software. I can't even see where migrating that data would be a problem, since it's no different than migrating all of the posts in every other sub forum. If it's completely gone, the size of THE THREAD is just a pathetic excuse for incompetence. [8|]

I don't think so (although one can always hope)... history of "THE THREAD" teaches us that its disappearance was always final I am afraid... so it is "THE THREAD" IV right now...
