How are these?

John Tiller's Battleground Series is a Hall of Fame lineup of games covering the Civil War and Napoleonic Wars. We've compiled these classic games into two new affordable collections, incorporating updated versions of these legendary titles. Incredible historical gameplay and great value!

How are these?

I'm just curious, how are these games, and what games are actually included? I heard someone say 9, but the product descriptions only list 5.

ACW - Gettysburgh, Shiloh, Antietam, Bull Run, Chickamauga
Napoleonic - Waterloo, Prelude to Waterloo, Napoleon in Russia, Age of Sail

Then go here

http://nap.phxsim.com/downloads/

for many more Napoleonic battles (Austerlitz, Egypt, Rivoli, Wagram, Peninsular battles, etc etc... over 100 add-on battles) using the NiR and Waterloo engines.

And here

http://www.gamesquad.com/forums/downloa ... =cat&id=90

for additional Napoleonic scenarios (look towards pg 2 and later, since this also has items for the HPS series)

How are they? About all I can say is that I've been playing them often since they were first released back in the 90's and will continue to do so for many years to come. I got the Matrix versions because I wanted everything in one place, a couple ACW titles I didn't have and the Vista compatibility.

They are quite fun and the NIR Project files out on that site makes almost all of the Napoleonic wars available for play.  Engine is somewhat weak compared to HPS, but graphics, sound and expansion/playability is a lot more in most aspects.
