I think I will use this for the animation tut

It is a high poly model ~ 7000, so I will have to do a _LOD as well.

These late model units are not likely to be hugely prevalent on the battlefield anyway.

Still needs more texutre work before I can even think about animating it.

I actually am hoping for more of these high poly models... I think most people have systems that can handle them these days.
 
Question, why do you need to do more texture work before you can animate?  You don't have to do things so linearly.
