OT Royal Marine starts War Zone animal rescue charity

Post by goodboyladdie »

Firstly, apologies for starting this here. This is the biggest forum and things posted in the general forum have a tendency to be hijacked...

An old school friend of mine is a Royal Marine sergeant. While serving in Afghanistan he was moved by the plight of some dogs that the Marines came into contact with. He and some friends rescued these dogs and got them out to safety. He has set up a registered charity that funds rescue centres, helps train vets and increase appreciation for animal welfare in areas of conflict. If you feel this is a worthwhile cause, please drop in on the website. If you do not, please ignore this thread and forgive my trespass. [&o]

Very best regards

That's pretty nice. Didn't think there'd be so many dogs over there.

It's often surprising how many dogs survive in places like that.  Did anyone else see Ross Kemp in Afghanistan, the soldiers adopted a couple of dogs who followed the guys in battle [X(]
