Just a quick noob question

Post by Mosby »

I still don't have the game, so I just read aar's whenever I have the chance. I notice the phrase KB alot, but I have no idea what it means.

Any help?

Kido Butai.

It means a collection of the Japanese CVs.

It's rough litteral translation means "mobile force" or something like that.

 In WitP parlayance,

KB usually means the IJN CVs.
mini-KB is the CVL/CVEs + maybe the slow CVs.
mega-KB is every flight deck in the fleet.

If you are the Allies, it is best to avoid KB and find another part of the map to sail your CVs in during the early part of the game.

I just downloaded the manual and it gives a bunch of abbrevations.

Good stuff.
