TF problems

Post by Chris21wen »

In the new version will the automatic convoy system work? Currently its poor I've got the AI sending ships to base to pick up resources but the bases the're going to have ships there already. I've also got TFs with 1 resource/oil. It also sends multiple TF being created to the same base.

I've also got TF disbanding on there own, even if I've set do not disband. I think this is caused when you convert an automatic convoy into a standard one. Once it returns to its original port in disbands. Bug I think.

I don't know how others work but when I send resources/oil back to Japan or Fuel/Supplies from Japan I want the TF to return full. Do not retire doesn't work with cargo/tankers and i'm not sure it works with transports either. There turn around empty. I can get it to work by spliting the TF into two and using follow TF. (E.g Escort with Do not retire and Cargo with follow TF).

It would be nice if CS TFs could be set up to do this.

When I automated logistics in real-life, I used network nodes and flows. The AI needs to abstract a little.
