OK first of all PLEASE DO NOT POST ANY COMMENTARY HERE! If you have questions ask them in another thread (Maybe Tutorial FAQ?) I will just assume people are grateful for a tutorial [;)]

Secondly, make sure you have most updated version of the game. This tutorial was done with the newest 1.01b beta version.

Third, PLEASE DO NOT CONTINUE THE TUTORIAL. If you want to make your own tutorial then add it as another thread, if you have some insights then make a new thread (Tutorial comments?).

Fourth, this is a great game. I hope you come to love it like many of us here do. That being said, GAME ON!

OK I know that last went kind of fast but this is a long process making these screens and I am trying to use early screens to cover what is needed in later screens so it builds. Needless to say I am late for lunch now and will need to take a break but you can now play with SETUP of forces and get used to them:




ROFLMAO Remember what I said about not mixing up the garrison and the move into city buttons? [:-] Shame on me. I highlighted the wrong one. Use the button just above the depot button to place a garrison.

Brilliant!   Thank you very much for this much needed elucidation of a rather imperfect GUI/manual.
Your effort, where others feared(?) to tread is truly appreciated.   This will probably keep purchasers "in the fold".

Well 3.5 people who decided to interrupt this tutorial. I would rather have this a continuous stream that have it broken up with kudos that I really do not need for my kindergarten artowrk. HanBarca is the .5 because I know he read the thread and has been ranting at others about not reading and I do appreciate irony so .5 it is. ANYWHO, back to the tutorial with the diplomacy phase. Before entering the diplomacy phase, you may want to download the attached .zip file that includes the forces setup (Tutoreal.set) for the tutorial so that you can better understand the pictures that will be coming up in the future, WHICH FOR SOME REASON cannot be loaded here and is now in the MODS section: tm.asp?m=1694572 which is a pain but you are relatively new and could probably use the practice of reading ALL the other forums so that most of your questions will be answered. AGAIN, ANYWHO, on with the show:
