Slightly OT - Book to recommend

Post by Gen.Hoepner »

I know it is not a pacific warfare related book, so it could be OT here in this forum, but i think this novel would interest some of you, even if it's related to the European Theatre.

The Book is called " The Night watch", and it's written in english (not translated) by an italian author, who's completely unknown.
What i found particularly interesting is that this is one of those few books that are focused on the "other side of the hill".
The protagonist is an SS, a believer, a man of the party. And he never regrets.
It is a "what if" novel, but it's very detailed in terms of night-warfare and technical manners.

If you could be interested in the subject, take a look...

I just read the first couple of paragraphs...which were so full of errors that I gave up. I'd strongly suggest potential buyers click the Leggi/read button for a preview.
