Class of 1805 - Basic Training Games

Post by cckcdw »

Hi Guys,

To help new players or players lost in the UI I would like to host basic training games.

We can set up a game for each trainee or six trainees in a game and then arrange a time to play using team speak.

I will take the trainee/s through the setup phase and all the rest of the phases, then play the game for a few turns to get the feel.

After that we can drop the team speak side of it and play a few turns until the hang of the game is got.

Please either reply to this forum, PM me or email me ClassOf1805@mccdw.com and we can set something up

Thanks Murat,

Does that mean you just volunteered to help as well? [:D]

Gladly! I need to train more opponents to love this game so I have a longer time before people know all my tricks!

I have had two sacrificial lambs, I mean volunteers, I installed a Team Speak Server on my Server but then I thought Skype would probably work just as well for what we are doing.

Anyway haven't heard back yet, apparently some people still sleep, but will let you know how it goes.

I don't know if I'll have much free time in the next week or two, but I am interested in this as well.

I am a long time EiA player and would be willing to help/coach/train anyone that needs help.  I am on the East Coast of the U.S. for time purposes.  I have also played around with this comp version to know most of the nuances and can help with those that are having simple interface problems.

I can even call you, as I have unlimited local and long distance minutes on my phone.

My copy just arrived by mail. I played the board game back in the mid 1980's so I still consider myself a newbie! I am on the east coast USA and I am available any time from now through about noon 12/26. Then I will be away until New Year's and I may have to be away the following weekend.

I'm setting up a single player game as soon as I finish here just to start getting used to the game.

email me and let me know how to proceed. (I've also clicked off Notify me via email when someone replies.

This is really first rate making these offers to help!

best regards and Happy Holidays!

I would be interested in basic training.  I am new to game, but not wargaming in general.

Thanks,
