game design issue or scenario issue?

Post by freeboy »

I am loving this , yet some strange things are bugging me.

One of them if I cannot build two improvemnts in one hex and another is small ports and cities have no airbases.
I believe Eng units should be able to build forts and portrs and airfields at the designers discretion.. and this may be the way it is.. thoughts?

I´m not sure i undestand what you´re talking about, but i´ll try....

1. Engineers can build locations. They can place one location per hex
if the terrain is ok for.
Things like fortified airfields or whatever you should forget.
Same for ports with airfield. Ports simply doesn´t have any airfields.
If you need one use engineers (with 100EP) to build a airfield in the neighbour hex.

2. building locations that are invisible thru the Fog of war.
Here i´m not 100% sure, but if i remember right you have to play the scenario with "Shrowd"
and "Shrowded Peak". Then the enemy will not know where you´re building roads/bridges,
fortifications or airfields (building a airfield is a clear message....) until he can see this by own ground troops
or he uses planes for recon.

Correct me when i´m wrong here, Vic.

I forgot: This is scenario related and you can edit most things.
So you can allow locations to have a airfield or not in the editor.

right, definately an issue I would like corrected/changed in larger scalling as a 30 40 50 60 km hex should be capable of a fortification and airfield.. port etc..

Just build a carrier in your port.  [;)]

like in World at War those Hex sizes are HUUUGGGEE!!!! silly game !lol actually just aboutthe only thing I want!
Seems an option to delay production when the slots change from one type to another   ie air to infantry or  vehicle to artillery etc .. no worries..
