The Med data design team are trying to finish up a scenario but it will need some testing. Not sure if Dave will include it with the patch or if it will be released seperately. The map will have specialized desert terrain and a graphic mod included.[8D]

Which Scenario have they choosen?

I am having difficulties with my own Beda Fomm scenario. The map is huge, and I have almost given up in getting it to play out like in history. Not to mention that the real maps doestn fit how the battle often is portrayed.

I however like the open spaces and the manouvering over the 50x40km map. The game feels a whole lot different than in the narrow greek mountain tracks.

Hi,

I'm going to be on vacation for 3 weeks starting August 20th (yahoo!!!) and have reserved some of it for serious gaming..... ideally COTA. Is there any chance that Patch 3 will be out sometime from late August to the 1st week in September?? [&o][&o]

Yea, what's up? Even without the patch, CotA is still tops, but the patch has become a desired thing.
I hope there has not been some outbreak of bugs with the improvements.
Still here, with anticipation.

Sorry but I had to work on my defence project last weekend. We have a big experiment coming up and we're all under the gun at the moment.

No need to apologize--priorities are priorities.

In the interim, we're fortunate to have an enjoyable, solid and completely playable game in CotA. While this will definitely be a nice to have patch, at least we're not impatiently waiting on a critical patch while sitting on a broken game (I've been down that joyous path a few times). All I need now is to upgrade my tired old processor so that I can enjoy some of the larger scenarios!

Been there, done that. I'm back to playing CotA.

Yes and it's all good. The beta testers and the auto-testers all report "thumbs up". I'll endeavour to upload all the files necessary for the patch to Matrix next Monday. They will then have to build the installer. We'll then test that and then, if it passes muster, the patch should be released to the public. So if all goes well, that should mean a release in the week after next.
