Advanced Tactics vs Peoples Tactics

Game Speed
In Peoples Tactics the game really slowed down beyond turn 25 (5 min turns on a 3Ghz P4, /1.5 GB memory, 256MB video card) on large or medium maps, has this been improved in Advanced Tactics?

Map Scrolling
Peoples Tactics used scroll bars, which didn't work very well for large maps, how has this improved in Advanced Tactics? Is there a mini map they you can click to hot points on the map?

Combat Reporting
In Peoples Tactics you couldn't read the combat report and look at the map at the same time, sometimes it was hard to tell where combat took place. How has this been addressed in Advanced Tactics?

Unit Movement
There was no next unit, or any way to tell which units have been moved and which ones haven't. How has this how has this improved in Advanced Tactics?

Explore
There was no explore movement orders in Peoples Tactics when playing with fog of war/exploration, unlike the old empire games.
Has this been how has this improved in Advanced Tactics?

World Map
There was no world map in peoples tactics, has this been improved in Advanced Tactics?

Hi pad,

Lot of questions! :) .. lets answer them:

The AI will still slow down if it gets more units to move or plays larger maps.

There is a mini map now so that you can quickly jump to different parts of the map.

You no longer see the enemy move while it is their turn, instead you can go to the history screen in your own turn to review all moves and combat reports at your leisure.

There is still no next button, but units that have used their movement points are now grayed out.

Explore order in random games? No there is not, but you can use your air wings to do recon missions on shrowded hexes.

And also a world map (strategic map) has been added.

Kind regards,
Vic
