I have already voted but I think France 1940 should be added to the list. My reasoning is that I think that AA can bring out facets of that most interesting campaign that no other game has ever done before. Also, there could be some very interesting what if's such as giving French better AT guns etc. [:)]

Major Disaster,

Done. France 1940 added. If anyone would like to change their choice, please do! I like France 1940 too. But not in my top 2.

Once again, thanks to everyone for keeping their postings short and to the point.

Interesting, so far Desert Fox is running almost double the votes of all other titles, with Normandy, Kursk, Domino, and Barbarossa well behind but respectable.

Yes, I think that I'll change my vote to Normandy 44 and France 40 (though Kursk would be number three)

Normandy and Pacific (NB I'd like the Pacific to include the non-US theatres ie Malaya/Singapore, Burma, India)

ORIGINAL: barbarossa2

Many of us have favorite eras/fronts we'd like to see Panther do with this series after COTA and Bulge. I am curious, if you were in a store and you could buy ONLY TWO of the following titles using this system, which would they be?

-Battles in Normandy
-Kursk (and elements of 2 or 3 other battles from 1943, i.e. Kharkov)
-Domino: Korea & Vietnam (Vietnam Incl. French and US, so: Dien Bien Phu, Hue, Pegasus, Ia Drang, etc.)
-Desert Fox (featuring elements of two or three larger battles in Rommel's African career)
-Stalingrad (and the campaign surrounding it)
-Barbarossa, 1941 (focusing on elements of 2 or 3 operations from that year)
-West Wall/Rhine
-Pacific WWII (Guadalcanal, Iwo Jima, etc.)
-WWI, 1914 (Tannenberg, Marne, etc.)
AND
-France 1940 (incl. Dunkirk, Arras, Sedan, etc.)

Which would they be?

JUST TWO!!!!!! If you have a copy of COTA please take the time to quickly answer. Even if the subject doesn't interest you terribly. I am just VERY curious. Thanks! Please indicate TWO and only two. It would be great if lengthy debates on this topic and other great ideas be limited to the "A Debate On Engines" thread, since it appears that is where it is going.

I don't have a copy of COTA, but, I'm going to vote anyways because even though I don't like the engine there are some games I will buy just because I like the era/front and I am a collector of those types. I do own HTTR so that qualifies me anyways I think. ;)

1. Pacific WWII
2. Battles in Normandy
WE/I WANT 1:1 or something even 1:2 death animations in the KOIOS PANZER COMMAND SERIES don't forget Erik! ;) and Floating Paratroopers We grew up with Minor, Marginal and Decisive victories why rock the boat with Marginal, Decisive and Legendary?

- Desert Fox
- Pacific WW2

North Africa would allow not only British, Italian and German forces but also American if it extends in scope to Tunisia, and also Vichy French. The Pacific theatre could be very wide-ranging, from Guadalcanal, Burma, and the Philippines to even Nomonhan at a stretch.
While the battles the British fight may differ in the widest possible ways, they invariably have two common characteristics – they are always fought uphill and always at the junction of two or more map sheets.

I will tally these up here in the next week, making sure I don't count the people who changed their votes twice. Keep tuned.
