You guys via Digital River Order Number: 124420136...placed on the 2nd Jan. already charged/registered (serial#). NWS never got copies, of course.
EDIT: UPS 2nd Day Shipping by the way!

As Dave noted, dealer copies always ship after direct copies to our customers. This is the only fair way to do it given limited initial supply. On the plus side, NWS charges a bit less, so it's a matter of time vs. money that the customer has to decide on.

As far as your order, I would expect that it would ship by the end of today, but I'll ask for a special check on it. Given that you ordered a couple of weeks after initial physical availability and orders are filled in the order they were received, it's probably just that your further down the line than those that were already shipped.

[:)]Of course, if i wasn't Beta-Testing i wouldn't be in a rush per se, but with school in session my daughter is using one of my PC's for projects so it is cramping my style[;)]. On top of that...if i spent $250 on a full color manual @ kinkos it would only make my Wife and kids resent me more...Hey!(i tell them) I do have a job you know![:'(]

Ok, I just checked. Incredibly enough, we've already run through the initial order that was received as far as the printed manuals and it didn't quite meet all of the current back-orders. The good news is that more manuals (enough to cover the rest of the back-orders and more) are on the way and due to arrive this Friday. That means the rest of the orders will ship out Friday or Monday.

Sorry for the additional wait. My own copy just arrived this afternoon and I can say that it was indeed worth the wait. I know you'll be pleased when you receive yours.

Now that the US side is working, we are working on getting the non-US sites up and running with this process. It should take about a week from when the US copies started shipping out.

Eric or Marc,
I live in St. Paul, MN. I see that my order originated in Eden Prairie, MN, which is a suburb of Minneapolis, MN., about 20 miles from here. It says it was picked up by the USPS just after midnight on the 10th and arrived in 'Milan, IL' 10 o'clock the next morning. Why would it get shipped to Illinois? Here I thought I would get it yesterday, and now may not get it until next week?

That is really more of a UPS question that we can not really answer.  I look into it but I not really sure I am going to get a reply.

Mike,

Yes, that's really in the postal service's hands now and they would have to answer why the route packages as they do. My guess is they have a distribution hub they send everything to before routing it to its destination.

Got my copy today! Thanks for all the hard work fellas. We really appreciate it even though we may have been pains in the a$$es with the complaining.

Keep up the good work. You have a great collection of games. Looking forward to playing Battlefront when that comes out.

My copy got here yesterday morning and its a very good game. However, I paid more to have it shipped sooner so that I could play it during the holidays when I had excess free time. I'm now back at work and school and got charged for the extra shipping. I read somewhere that the extra shipping would get refunded (can't find it now - thought it was this thread).
My order number is: 124076169

Here's how mine went so far (and I live in St. Paul, MN).....
01/10/07 12:48 AM Picked up by Shipping Partner Eden Prairie, MN
01/10/07 09:45 AM Arrival Scan Milan, IL
01/11/07 02:00 PM PROCESSED TO USPS Saint Paul, MN
01/11/07 03:07 PM Departure Scan Milan, IL

and the 'PROCESSED TO USPS Saint Paul, MN' line did not appear until this evening (1/12)...interesting....but at least it's on the way, I think.
