Simple Map Question

Post by btaft »

I have a quick question about the coordinates on the WPO map and how it relates to enemy task forces and their reported headings. Since the covered area is so large and would actaully be curved. How do I know which way is North. When I click on a detected TF, I will get some basic information on the TF and their reported heading. For the purposes of this game is a TF reported to be hading SW expected to head to the lower left of the hex that it is in regardless of where it is on the map, or does this direction change a little bit due to how the map is projected on the hex grid?

Any insight is appreciated.

Thanks,

BT

Even though the map is indeed curved, you can safely assume that "up" is North, and Southwest is down and to the left. Makes it easier to live with...
