Great Preview at Wargamer

Battlefront features the power of battalion-level combat in some of this period's most bloody and intense conflicts: Saipan, Market Garden, Novorossisk, and Gazala. Players will have realistic control over their soldiers, with a tactical scale just large enough to make a telling difference in the strategic picture.

Great Preview at Wargamer

Post by Les_the_Sarge_9_1 »

I just had the pleasure of a well illustrated review at Wargamer (and I rarely like reviews).

The game makes me think of Avalon Hills title The Longest Day (that monster game in the red box). That's a very good compliment if that was not apparent :)

Looks like a fine offering. I have not had the pleasure of playing it's originator though.

But either way, this title is worth keeping on the radar at the moment.

It was a preview, Les.  Reviews will pick up flaws; previews just give a general decription.  It was a great preview.

Hmmm, yes I think I flubbed the word :)

Preview :)

Still, it did a lot to make me interested.

It sure did.  I like to think of previews as sign posts or the old Burma Shave ads along country roads.  They really hard to write, though.  I can suspect an awful glitch but can;t say much about it because it may be fixed in the release version.
