Mine Reloading

Post by btaft »

I am relatively new to UV. I have converted a couple of TF of subs to minelaying. The first run went well. Unfortunately, I have not been able to reload the mines. I even brough the subs to Numea which works for my DMs but hasn't worked for the subs. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,

Brett

I have found that you have to disband and reform the sub minelaying TFs ONLY from Noumea to get new mine reloads. I usually use my S-Boats for this in large groups in 1943. That way I get good mine coverage on whatever harbor (Truk, Rabaul, Kaiveng) I'm going after.

I guess other Level 6 ports just couldn't handle the reloading?!?

Thanks!!

I am only in the first month of the campaign and have been using them at Gili-Gili and PM. So far they have been pretty successful. Thanks for the tip.

Yep, Noumea and Brisbane for the Allies, AFAIK only Truk for the Japanese.
