Filler Names

Eagle Day to Bombing of the Reich is a improved and enhanced edition of Talonsoft's older Battle of Britain and Bombing the Reich. This updated version represents the best simulation of the air war over Britain and the strategic bombing campaign over Europe that has ever been made.

I am still working on getting all the French names for there squadrons, I got a few of them but not all of them, do you know which one was Alsace ? (if you happen to know the other ones, it would be a big helps too :))

yes, I just read about his passing on a website about the Tempests, odd that his passing would of been so quiet, but anymore, most of them are not reported, a shame, all of them, should be Held in Honor and Respect

The alsace squadron was the Raf labeled 341 French squadron with spit IX.You could find inside his best buddy Jacques Remlinger who does not appear in my oob .I would gladly help you but i have to recover from my home move ...as soon as i dig in my books ...i will post you. Yes me too i have been ashamed the news of his passing were reported just 10 seconds on the TV news ...

It would be great to have my pop in the game, Richard E. Rupp USAAF He was still in training at Greenville Army Air Field, Greenville Mississippi. He's my avatar, just passed away last June...

Thanks

I would be happy to add him in

do you know what unit he was with or would of been assigned to ?

sorry to hear of his passing

I've got a picture of my pop in a Vultee BT-13 http://www.bt-13.org/index.html I've no idea what he would have transitioned to after that though. From that website I gather that Greenville AAF was part of Eastern Flying Training Command. No idea on what class number he was in.

Richard E. Rupp, or Dick Rupp since it's what friends would have known him as.

Thanks very much and thanks for the condolences

Henzau I know how you feel.I lost my dad 2 years ago he was also in the U.S.A.A.F.
It was a devastating loss.
Have you put your dad in the National WWII registry yet?
A nice site to go to is http://www.armyairforces.com
They have an extensive forum there. You might find out more about your father from this site possibly.

Looks like the typical movements for RAF day fighter Sqn. This is one of the reasons I would like the ~10 point morale reduction for moving a unit removed because as shown above RAF fighter (and LW units) regularly moved around without any significant reduction in operational efficiency. If you moved a unit around like above (particularly 1943) in the game it's morale would be permenantly wrecked.
