Game crashes about 25 turns into any scenario

Has anyone else come across this type of error. The game plays fine for about 25 turns and then crashes. I'm running War In The Pacific Beta Patch v.1.795 Beta

You play 25 turns at a gulp?! [X(] I never did that so I don't know (my limit: 4 or 5 turns). But I suspect my computer (and myself, by the way) would not survive the experience [:)] Maybe you should end the game after x turns (5, 10, 15?), reboot your PC and start again...

It looks like the error you get when you hit the back button on the Naval Intell screen or the hit back button
In the 1st case Don't Hit exit
In the second save after EVERY turn
These bugs probably won't be fixed

ckk may have confused you, I think. Do not ever ever use the "back" button. Always use exit. It is a known bug the the back button can drop you to desktop. [:@][&:][:(][:)]

Nomad, I almost always click on "back" button and never experienced a CTD. My CTD's: only when I leave the savegame menu. What works for me does not work for others and vice-versa. Conclusion: the CTD's are truly kafkian [:)]

Nomad is right Don't hit the BACK button when in the ship availability screen

I also use back button and have never experienced a CTD.

It is a known issue, but some people never experience it. I have seen it twice myself. It is very agravating to say the least. both times it happened just before I was done with my turn. [&:][:@]

I get odd crashes from time to time as well, so....... I save a lot.

These are most likely not WiTP bugs but issues between WiTP, Windows and drivers or other applications.

Thanks everbody! It must have been the back button that caused the problem. I have not encountered the error since I avoided using it.
