Age of Rifles and the V4V/W@W games would be real coups.

V for Victory which later changed to World at War. Great WEGO operational games at the battalion/company level except for Stalingrad which was at the regimental level. I guess Combined Arms will fill this niche, but I would still like to see an update to Operation Crusader and Velikiye Luki. Those games bring back such sweet memories of better times.

War in the Pacific - a game that's being left to wither and die by it's current publisher.

Age Of Rifles. I have played many a game over the last 20 years but I do love that game.
After 16 years, Civ II still has me in it's clutches LOL!!!
Now CIV IV has me in it's evil clutches!

Age of Rifles would be my top choice. Simply, I think, because I would still choose to play it rather than any of the more recent games. I can't honestly say that about the other suggestions, or indeed most of the Talonsoft stuff.

I would be good if they picked up Civil War Generals 3, too. I've no idea how far that got before it was cancelled.

Give Dean Essig a call (if he’s still alive) and work a deal to produce/support a computer version of all of The Gamer’s Civil War Brigade series games.

Semper Fi from Stanley Associates--Operational Modern Marine Warfare but the engine has scenario builder and there are even user made scenarios of World War II available on the net.

Flight Commander II-- I still play this one. I do not believe much chance of this being available to Matrix but the addition of helicoptors, better air-to ground modeling, and air- to- ship modeling, as well as, some improvements in the campaign area would make make an amazing game even better.

Or maybe it is just time to stop with revisiting old friends and simply put all the possible resources into a NEW game.

VGA planets or MOO (the recent sequels where horrid). New version of steel panthers would be great too.

Sierra claimed they were in the prototype stage when they decided to can it.

Nelson stood on deck and observed as the last of the Spanish fleets sank below the waves…

Action Stations! Alan Zimm's naval surface warfare sim from the 80's is still the best at depicting naval warefare from the CIC view.

Ahhh, better times, well, maybe.

That code is so old it would be easier to start over rather than fix it up. Looks like Combined Arms is using the exact same deployment I designed for Amaerica Invades, so you should have pretty much the same game anyway.

How about Avalon Hill's Kingmaker for the PC? Update it to Windows, add in all the optional rules, enhance the AI, and add network play. And do it before Paradox snatches it up and messes with it like they did with Diplomacy.
