Which MWiF counter is named after a pilot?
Easy this one.
The Rudel.
Hans-Ulrich Rudel flew Ju87G-2 planes equipped with a pair of deadly high caliber cannons (don't remember the caliber here at work without my computer at hand), and he destroyed literaly hundreds of Soviet armor with these :

- 518+ Tanks
- 700 Trucks
- 150+ Flak and Artillery positions
- 9 Fighter/Ground Attack Aircraft
- Hundreds of bridges, railway lines, bunkers, etc.
- Battleship October Revolution, Cruiser Marat, and 70 landing craft

He also bailed numerous times out of his destroyed aircraft. He finished his carrer flying Fw190D Dora fighter bombers IIRC.
This top scorer got his counter in WiF because of his extreme effectiveness at destroying armor, but there never was any German unit named after his name.
Cheers !
Patrice

PS : Some Edit after having googled some info.

Froonp scores again...

With the stiffening resistance on the Russian Front the Ju-87D was adapted as a tank busting aircraft. The resulting Ju.87G had lower speed and range than its predecessors because of its increased armor plating and twin 30mm cannon. These were later updated to 37mm cannon. The exploits of Colonel Hans Rudel who personally destroyed over 500 Russian armoured vehicles and sank the 23,000 tonne Russian Battleship “Marat” while piloting a Ju.87G are worthy of separate study.

Rudel's input was also used during development of A-10 attack craft.
