Three ways to see a Units' Range:
1. The Range for Ranged Units [that is, units that have a range, lol] can be seen in the screen shot below. This displays either when a unit is selected, or when a unit is moused over.

2. With a unit selected, hit 'U' to open the unit info, If the unit has a Range, you will see it there under the Strengths column on the right.

3. Select a Ranged Unit and then hover over enemy units, if the cursor turns into a 'Bombard' icon, then the target is within range.

New UI on left, Classic UI on right.

Scenario Folder/Directory
If you want to switch between scenario folders (for example, WWI or WWII), don't use the Default Directory button [highlighted in Red below]. Click directly on the Folder that you want to change to [Select Folder, eh?]. If you want TOAW to always open to a folder other than Tutorials, then use the Default Directory button.

Most current answer is 'Not at this time'.

If you set the unit to limited attack, it won't advance. With a full attack, the unit will advance, if it didn't break off the attack earlier.

Obj. 1 Track 1 has other functions, so it would mess up stuff if you change it. So it's locked [:)]

I played the original version of this game back in the day. I bought version III some time ago but have not played it very much.

Does this version IV include a random battle generator? That's a feature I always hoped would be included. Building scenarios manually is very tedious.

Its been a long time since I played, but as I recall the supply routes are all traced through land hexes. I forget the details. The manual is online I think. I don't know how the Grigsby game works.

Manual sez,
Any unused Rail, Air, or Sea Transport Capacity also contributes to resupply efforts. This results in a boost to the Formation’s capacity to distribute supplies.

This is not true. There might be some correlation between the loss settings and whether a unit advances but units on minimize losses and limit losses do advance at least some of the time. In fact I almost never use ignore losses when launching attacks, preferring limit losses, and while my units often don't advance they often do as well.

Look more carefully, Jeremy: "Limited Attack". Not "Limit Losses".
