Eagle Day to Bombing of the Reich is a improved and enhanced edition of Talonsoft's older Battle of Britain and Bombing the Reich. This updated version represents the best simulation of the air war over Britain and the strategic bombing campaign over Europe that has ever been made.

this is why i don't use full screen mode, game works fine until you alt tab in and out of it, as once focus is lost, going back in game doesn't recover, so windows mode next and alt tab in and out tested again

so far starting video works and played in full screen mode and now in windows mode also, so not a video issue for me anyway on my hardware

14, windows mode in this version of windows seems to be a bit smaller than the last one, so now will try some settings in full screen mode and alter shortcut to suit my desktop and screen size and DPI used etc

so for me full screen is better, but you can't alt tab in or out in this mode, but looks better and needs no alteration of the shortcut to work in this mode either other than what's shown, while it works without it, for me it's better and will in the help more, you can try compatibility mode for Vista, as that's the age of the game, gives more permissions and time for things to run etc, but for me and my testing, unless you run into issues, you don't have to use it

red used yellow optional only if you have any errors

then something is in your settings that aren't in mine, so lets looks and see what you need to alter to make it work better shall we?

How to get a DirectX Diagnostic file:

1. click on "START"
2. click "run"
3. type in "dxdiag" and click "OK"
4. check through the tabs and perform all tests
5. click "Save all Information..." and save the text file to a location of your choice

We prefer that DxDiag files be posted as message attachments rather than pasted into the body of the post.

on error i get is either when i alt tab in and out and back in again as shown, and the screen size in windows mode is smaller than the last version i tested with by quite a few %, last one was maybe 98% with this one being maybe 1/3rd screen loss, so rather a larger %, but last time i was on default DPI of 96 with this version on the same card using 144DPI, and the only thing iv'e changed is a monitor, from a 29" to a 40", needed something better for my eyes as i sit in front for too long.

mind you i have 6 pc's and 8 monitors and 3 laptops so have a few to test with.

creators update version now, last one was the anniversary edition etc of windows 10, same hardware mind you on both, same card etc etc
