looks like a good EAA Airventure

I wish I could go back soon but maybe in the next couple of years I will be able to. Any one planning on this year? Sounds like a good Airventure is building up this year-

Fortunately, I live 15 minutes away. 
 
I tend to hit every other year, depending if someone goes along with me.

What are the better places to stay when going there? Last time I went I flew into Green Bay & stayed in a hotel in that area & just drove from there to Oshkosh every day. Are the hotels in Appleton or elsewhere better deals?
