New Game?

The greatest historical strategy game about Napoleon's Campaigns is here!

Napoleon's Campaigns is a realistic simulation of the campaigns fought by the renowned French emperor between 1805 and 1815. In addition to reliving these landmarks of operational maneuver across Europe, the game also includes the Peninsula War (1808-1814) and even a what-if scenario where Napoleon invades England (1805).

Each scenario presents a unique and interesting challenge!

New Game?

Post by drillerman »

Hi all
Just some clarification. Is this a new game or is it the old game by AGEOD?
Thanks

It isn't a re-release.
Watched a documentary on beavers. Best dam documentary I've ever seen.

We recently acquired AGEOD and as part of this are releasing their entire line up to the store. All the base games are now available but we have 6 DLC's and the WW1 upgrade kit to add and then we're done!

A Pity

Post by Omnius »

A real shame that this isn't a new Napoleon game but rather a rehash of the old AGEOD title that sucked. Sorry but I was rather disappointed at how poorly a French company did a Napoleonic war game. Rather pitiful that there was no real campaign from 1805-1815 and the short campaigns weren't well thought out and modeled. The weather has way too much effect in the game, it basically ruins the game. Plus the retreat function is unbelievably stupid with formations retreating back from where they came instead of retreating towards their capital or supply depot.

This was the worst Napoleon game I ever bought and would never waste my money on AGEOD products ever again. All I'll say is Caveat Emptor! I'm enjoying Napoleon: Total War for the Mac right now, a far better Napoleonic game.

I think it's OK. The map is gorgeous.

Perhaps you should try Imperial Glory.
