victory locations

Any way to change the number and/or placement of victory locations on single-player maps? Seems to me that some maps are too big, with too many objectives. Often I have to detach units from the fight and send them walkabout to claim enough victory locations to win the scenario (a bit daft?). Other versions of CC allowed you to create your own deployment zones and objectives, but in LSA they seem fixed: is it coz you're really meant to be playing the campaign rather than single scenarios?

There is a tool; BTD-Editor that allows you to change the number and or value of VL's for a map but the changes will then be part of any campaigns/operations that includes the edit map VL data. Here is a forum thread announcing the tool on the Close Combat Series website (CCS has v1.07 in its downloads as Mafi's websites are sometimes not available).
