World in Flames is like...

Post by Anendrue »

Thought I'd start a new comparison thread with a little twist.

World in Flames is like...

Macallan 64 Year Old in Lalique ($460,000 USD a bootle) an awesome scotch whiskey. The older it gets the stronger it kicks and the better is tastes.

A bottle of fine wine. It takes a lot of years to mature but in the end tastes like nothing else.

World in Flames is like a box of chocolates...

Sometimes you get nuts in it.

Sometimes you get a delicious surprise out of it.

lots of anticipation before the next session,

some strategy and tactics required to obtain your goal,

excitement and a lot of not knowing what's coming next,

an urge to do it again shortly after having done it.

Hmmm, it's a lot like sex.

I assume you are talking about MWIF and not WIF. Unless you mean that:

WIF is like something that always turns up late, is full to bursting with people by the time it arrives, and you have to stand. Then once you get on it, it is invariably slow as there are signal problems on the line ahead.....

While not quite on topic, I think it is topical to compare my WiF playing with my WoW playing.

WiF: I have stopped playing because I have a young child, no space in my house to play, and our usual host no longer has his usual space either (on account of children). But if circumstances change, I would start to play WiF again.

WoW: I stopped playing because I didn't want to play anymore (for various reasons). At the moment I cannot foresee any circumstances arising in which I would start to play WoW again.

It is. However, if a betatester is going to say here: MWIF is like... He might be violating his NDA [:D]

I think paulderynck has given the most accurate simile - it is a lot like sex, albeit without the handcuffs and Lingerie...well the handcuffs anyway...I always play the Axis wearing a basque... ahem..too weird?....I'll get my coat....

As long as has a picture of 'Mein Fuhrer' embroidered on it, it seems perfectly normal.[:D]

Stage five in life: Use to look like Santa Claus but got sick and lost allot of weight.
