dtp entertainment, Slitherine, and Matrix Games Continue Their Cooperation!

Post by Scott Parrino »

We are proud to announce future co-operations with the German distributor dtp entertainment! In the third quarter of 2012, dtp is going to distribute well-known titles such as Panzer Corps and Distant Worlds in several different editions. Gamers will be happy to know that expansions and special editions of the games will be available as well.

Sören Laß, Business Development Director from dtp entertainment: “We have already received numerous awards for Panzer Corps and Distant Worlds. For those titles we find a highly dedicated fan community of formidable size, indicated by the high sale figures. We are more than happy to continue the success story of these titles together with Slitherine and offer the expansions for the first time in German.”

JD McNeil, Chairman of Slitherine adds: “We are convinced that we have the perfect partner on our side for the upcoming releases. The previous success resulting from the cooperation with dtp entertainment made the decision fairly easy for us. We are more than happy to market the expansions for Panzer Corps and Distant Worlds, as well as further titles with dtp.”

First of all, Panzer Corps fans, and anyone who wants to join the party, can look forward to the long-awaited add-on Panzer Corps: Afrika Korps, which will be published as a stand-alone game. In addition dtp entertainment will also publish 4 successful add-on packs, Panzer Corps’ Grand Campaigns ’39 - ‘42. The Panzer Corps: Gold Edition will pack a punch for those who want to have the full Panzer Corps experience as this edition features both the full game of Panzer Corps as well as the 4 Grand Campaigns ’39 - ’42 in one box.

dtp entertainment will also publish the first add-on to the highly-successful space strategy game Distant Worlds: Return of the Shakturi. Fans of the full version of Distant Worlds will love Return of the Shakturi as it brings new campaigns, tons of improvements, new units, and lots more. For the full Distant Worlds experience, players who have waited until now will be able to get both the full game as well as the expansion in the brand-new Distant Worlds: Gold Edition.

With Legends of War, dtp entertainment will publish the German version of the latest upcoming title from Slitherine’s strategy stable. Legends of War features brilliant graphics, a huge diversity of units and focuses on the best-known military campaigns and generals of WW2. Legends of War will be released on PS3, Xbox 360, PC, and PlayStation Vita.

Question; so there will be a gold edition but only for the 39-42 years? I was hoping for a 39-45 gold edition in one box, any news on that?

/edit; DTP publishes also "Drakensang", one of the most beautiful RPG's I've played in a looong time. Compelling story, awesome enthralling graphics, a masterpiece IMHO. So much better than that completely dumbed down Baldurs Gate/Dragon-age thingy.

This is purely a German retail release for now. The Grand Campaign is not complete yet so until we have the 3 western campaigns available we cant have any complete package.
