Convoys? No idea.

Time of Fury spans the whole war in Europe and gives players the opportunity to control all types of units, ground, air and naval. Not only that, each player will be able to pick a single country or selection of countries and fight his way against either the AI or in multiplayer in hotseat or Play by E-Mail. This innovative multiplayer feature will give player the chance to fight bigger scenarios against many opponents, giving the game a strategic angle that has no equal in the market. The game uses Slitherine’s revolutionary PBEM++ server system.

Convoys? No idea.

Yeah, so help says something about clicking on yellow circles. Right. So after clicking Convoy Management > New I was taken to the map; no circles. Unless they're talking about those yellow spirally-looking things in the water? Start randomly clicking on friendly ports then allied ports; no feedback from game at all. Go to click on the convoy button again and... nothing. Click again, back to the Convoy Management menu; nothing there. Rinse and repeat.

CTRL-F'ed "convoy" in the game manual. Found the word in their twice. Neither discusses how to create a convoy.

Click on New.
Then click on a yellow circle that represents a Port. Make sure it is not a sea area. A Port circle should say something like Southamption.
Then clik on where you want the convoy to go. Again make sure it is a Port circle like Antwerp
Then you are done [:)]

Thank you. Why couldn't that be in the manual? Me thinks there's more work to do in the ToF camp. [:-]

Much as I enjoy the Agent S map preferences available in ToF, I did find the Sea Areas and Ports symbols difficult to see, so I have imported those symbols and the overall Ocean colour from SoP into the ToF Agent S B+W and Retro maps, which makes convoy routing options easier to see.

The attachment shows the Agent S Retro map, which I am using for summer game turns, with the SoP ocean, which shows the ports more clearly.

Here's the SoP symbols in the Agent S B+W map, that I am using for winter turns, in the convoy selection mode with ports highlighted. [:)]

Incidently, the SoP symbols can be use to better show the available landing beaches (F9).

This thread made me think about convoys again, as I have always been mystified about the supply of German units in NA and have left that area to the Italians. That has worked out OK and they have been quite successful, but I see the British building up naval and land forces on Egypt and things might get difficult, so anticipating that I might have to send German units to help, I need to get supply issues clear.

It doesn't look like Italian supply levels will help German units in NA, but I see that I can run German convoys from Italian ports to NA, what does that do to supply in that area with both Italian and German convoys arriving at the same ports. Does that set up different hex supply levels for different national ground units, or is there still the same supply level for all units ?
