Smaller Scenario's.

The development team behind the award-winning games Decisive Campaigns: From Warsaw To Paris and Advanced Tactics is back with a new and improved game engine that focuses on the decisive year and theater of World War II! Decisive Campaigns: Case Blue simulates the German drive to Stalingrad and into the Caucasus of the summer of 1942, as well as its May preludes (2nd Kharkov offensive, Operation Trappenjagd) and also the Soviet winter counter-offensive (Operation Uranus) that ended with the encirclement of 6th Army in Stalingrad and the destruction of the axis minor armies. With many improvements including the PBEM++ system, this is a release to watch for wargamers!

Smaller Scenario's.

Post by Toby42 »

It looks like this title only has two small scenarios. I'm not into moving hundreds of units, so I'll probably have to pass on this one! The Case Blue scenario in WitE is division level and it's daunting enough. I can imagine what a regiment level game on the same subject would be like....

there is a linked campaign with four small scenarios and two other smaller scenarios.
each of the big campaigns has a short variant (about 25 turns)

I hope eventually somebody will get enthusiastic with making scenarios with the editor... I also added one extra scenario (Kerch) on the scenariobank already myself.

FYI I'm not bashing the game. Just stating my preferences? I have WtP and have enjoyed it a lot....

Thank you for doing so - but:
Manstein, and according to many allied, the ablest general of the World War II,
only gets a total combat bonus of +65 ?
Hm, hm.

dont extract or unzip. Install using game menu, just click import zip and point to where the scenario file is downloaded too.

Budd, I'm having the same problem. Download the zip, import. Says "this may take some time", press ok and it says "error unpacking" Am using beta patch, if that would make a difference.

I'm also running the beta. I deleted the scenario and reimported it without issue. Just place the this file here.

I originally downloaded the zip to that location, then tried to import....had the error. So deleted it, downloaded to another location and tried to import...still no joy. Do you press "ok" after it says this may take some time, because the hard drive does nothing. As soon as I press "ok" it says "error unpacking". I click that "ok" and the cursor remains an hourglass but menu items are still selectable. Any ideas?

Ok, just tried that. Couldn't import. Tried to load, no zip file showing. Tried to unzip with winrar....unexpected end of archive. This is probably something really simple I'm missing.

good i get to use pictures again[:D]

1. this is the file you download.
2.highlight the kerch file, right click mouse, select copy.
3.highlight the dccb scenario folder, right click mouse select paste.

It should show up as a playable scenario after that.

I believe that is because he is at the Army level. If you demote him to Corp, then it will increase based on his COM % and MOR %. I am not recommending you do that, I am just explaining what I BELIEVE to be correct.

@ Scouseair68 it looks like you are having the same problem I had few days ago. If the above does not work try download the scenario file from Redmarcus4 tm.asp?m=3149110 Post 14 and put the scenario file Kerch_v4.dc2 into the dccbscenarios folder in your game. It should show up when you click the load scenario button on the main screen for DC:CB.
