German units moving in frozen Yugoslavia

Post by asdicus »

1944 game russians vs the ai. Using 1.06.14 beta

Russia has conquered Romania and invaded Hungary. Yugoslavia should be frozen to german and russian units. German ai units are moving freely in Yugoslavia and they can be attacked when they are on the border with russian controlled Hungary. Russian units correctly cannot enter Yugoslavia.

Will take a look, but this sounds vaguely familiar. If units are forced to retreat into Yugoslavia then they can move to get back out IIRC.

OK I took a look and those German units are allowed to try and move out of Yugoslavia as per rule 19.2. How good the AI is at doing that is up for debate but the units are allowed to move out. If you see them move back in then it would be a bug.
