Who's around?

Eagle Day to Bombing of the Reich is a improved and enhanced edition of Talonsoft's older Battle of Britain and Bombing the Reich. This updated version represents the best simulation of the air war over Britain and the strategic bombing campaign over Europe that has ever been made.

Who's around?

Post by madflava13 »

Who is still actively playing this? I am re-downloading this evening, since I got a new computer and haven't been able to play PBEM for awhile. Once I dig in, I'm going to want to talk strategy and tactics - anyone around?

After a game against the AI, I might even be up for a PBEM, although WiTP-AE is my first PBEM love...

Glad to hear. I've been re-reading this forum to brush up on everything. Right now I'm torn about which side to play. I'm leaning towards Allies for the moment, as I'd prefer to start a Luftwaffe campaign after Harley has a chance to finish up the UI improvements for production.

Just started an allied 43 campaign - I forgot how much there was to do with this game... I'm going to dive in, and I might even run a partial AAR if anyone's interested...

I'm continuing to make me break down heavily by the allies as the
first time I took the game in my hands, and I'm still trying to
set the crazy axis production. It may takes millennia.

Still Here.

I think you're right with starting as the allies, they are a little more forgiving and you get a larger variety of missions so learn more about the game mechanics up front (although miss the whole production side.)

Hey Guys!

I am still playing and have been working on my post in the war room that I cant seem to find. Man I spent months working on that thread and months more working on my next post to add to it. Can anybody tell me where it is?

Tks KayBay!

I bumped the thread that I think you were looking for.

Edit: It was older than one year so 'display topics' had to be changed to 'all topics' for the thread to show.

Hey Orm! <S> [8D]

Thank you very much, you just answered my stupid question as to why I couldnt find my Strat thread in The War Room. DOH! I hate it when I am a stupid idiot. [:D]

But thank you for enlightening me. [&o]

I am finishing up my next post to add to my thread there on Daylight Strategic Operations. Nothing earth shattering as usual, but no matter where I go I keep coming back to this fantastic game. There is just so much to it. Every time a peel back a layer I keep finding more below. I wish I had Nick Bell's understanding of the Luftwaffe aspect of the game but I don't so I have a long way to go to catch up to you guys. Anyways I am having a blast with it. Hope you all are as well.

Later,
KayBay [8D]
