Permanent Air Unit Withdrawl

Post by Mike Solli »

Question for the masses: When a Japanese air unit withdraws permanently, what happens to the planes and pilots? Thanks.

The planes and pilots are gone too but I make sure my good pilots are out of there replaced by some not so good pilots. :-)

All Japanese planes and pilots go to the pool.

If the withdraw/disband buttons are red, the planes will not go back to the pool. The pilots will. If you have a unit doing training that is scheduled to withdraw in the near future I would not cull it for experienced pilots in the last month or two. Otherwise, the newbies you have pulled in will get thrown into the reserve pool and then you need to pull them out especially to train. A big hassle.
