Gone quiet on here!!

Gary Grigsby’s War in the East: The German-Soviet War 1941-1945 is a turn-based World War II strategy game stretching across the entire Eastern Front. Gamers can engage in an epic campaign, including division-sized battles with realistic and historical terrain, weather, orders of battle, logistics and combat results.

The critically and fan-acclaimed Eastern Front mega-game Gary Grigsby’s War in the East just got bigger and better with Gary Grigsby’s War in the East: Don to the Danube! This expansion to the award-winning War in the East comes with a wide array of later war scenarios ranging from short but intense 6 turn bouts like the Battle for Kharkov (1942) to immense 37-turn engagements taking place across multiple nations like Drama on the Danube (Summer 1944 – Spring 1945).

Is this because we are getting closer to D-Day? Everyone bunkering down getting that beta completed for the hoilidays. Always find these forums go dark just before the release of a title[8|].

I certainly hope so.

It's probably because there's nothing else to write about...there's plenty of AAR's to look at, plenty of questions have been answered, etc....seems like all there is to do now is wait!

D-Day was June 6th. I feel pretty safe saying WitE will be out by then. [:D]

There is still a lot to write about, but not too much that hasn't been written about in the past. There are also things that we can't write about pre-release, obviously.

I would be very happy if this were true, but I think realistically if it came out before 2011 I would be very satisfied. Not holding my breath though. For me, I'd just like a solid version 1 and a decent AI with good docs. I can wait another few months of that's what it takes. Don't want to re-live the days when Paradox made me their bitch for play-testing the first release of HOI. [&:]

Documentation is shaping up very nicely, I'd say.
