a question: a part from these 'opponent wanted' requests...is it easy to find players directly when connected to site dedicated to multiplayer (gamespy?? or some other?) or the game is too old and 'dead' for multiplayer purpose??

Close Combat Series.Org

A lot of the players who meet up there use Hamachi. At any given time there's between 3-20 people online. Weekends are busier but you can almost always find a game.

BHQ is pretty dead. Hamachi is your best bet.

What is "Hamachi" and where do you find it? Please explain more what you mean. Otherwise my suggestion is that everybody just start idling in BHQ as soon as you turn on your computer so it won't "seem" dead atleast. Always funnier to have some ppl in there.

Hey they're promoting Gameranger.  Community will drop the use of Hamachi.
