Spanish PBEM 2x1 -First AAR !

Post by .AdmYamaguchi. »

Hi everybody, excuse me for my poor english. The scenario selected is 16 with Sub Doctrine ON to both sides. This will be the second PBEM game that we´ll go. A friend will play with the Japanese side vs my brother (Commonwealth and China) and me (US) in the Allied side.

The House Rules agreed are:

-Kido Butai must return to Metropolitan Japan (Yokosuka) before new ops (except 2 CV´s and escort for possible operations at Wake Island).
-AVG must retry to India until Dec 21, 1941
-Dutch troops (only LCU) cannot leave DEI.
-4e bombers cannot operate at Chine until Jun 1944.
-ASW groups with no more 6 ships.
-Japanese units from Machukuo must pay the Political Points cost before leave Machukuo.
-No sub invasions

News comming soon ! [:D]

Nice screenshot!

SS Argonaut can carry more mines than other submarines, so you might want to reserve her for minelaying operations (Kwajalein, Truk, Rabaul,...). Don't let her upgrade if you want to preserve her minelaying capacity.

Good luck! [:)]

This is the picture for Phillipe island at dec 10, 1941
At sea, asiatic fleet continue to gathering at Mindanao island, with CA Houston, CL Boise & Marblehead and 5 DD. 4 More DD´s coming from Borneo & another 4 from Manila.
Some AK´s are in the minor island recollecting supplies to Bataan and Davao.
The 21st SubDiv with SS Salmon, SS Sargo, SS Saury, SS Seal, SS Skjipjack, SS Spearfish heading to patrolling areas in the South China Sea near Camranh Bay - Taan maritime links.
In north of Phillipines island heading to north the 22nd SubDiv heading to Formosa patrolling area (SS Sturgeon, SS Stingray, SS Snapper), and japan south patrol area (SS Swordfish, SS Sailfish and SS Sculpin). Sub Div 202 coming to their patrols area in the Yellow Sea (SS Seadragon and SS Seawolf) and the Inner Japan Sea (SS Searaven and SS Sealion).
1 avd heading to Djagangas, 1 docked at Davao and 1 more heading to Jolo.
The USAFFE Air Force continue concentrating at Davao, with 17 B-17, 42 P-40 and 15 PBY´s. In Lepazpi 15 fighters and 14 PBY´s.
The USAFFE COMMAND request from ABDACOM dos dutch Dornier patrol groups to Menado to support the naval search / ASW and supplies duties for Davao garrison. I am pending his acknowledge and agreement.
With so conservative japanese player, we think that it would be possible to prepair a strong defense of South Phillipines (Our plans is a defensive posture there except if KB appears in the area, then we running out heading south)

I like the format of your screenshots! It's good to see something new! So do you know where the KB is? Did he not attack PH?

skreball thank you for your post.
In the home rules we had stablished that KB must return to PH, we are playing the escenario 16 (8th dec). The results of the PH attack are historic. 2 BB lost (BB Arizona, BB Oklahoma), 3 BB lightly damage (BB Tennesse, BB Pensylvannia, BB Maryland), 3 BB heavily damage (BB West Virginia, BB California, BB Nevada), 2 light cruiser damage (USS Raleigh, USS Helena), 3 DD heavily damage ( USS Shaw, USS Downess, USS Cassin), 1 AV lightly damage, 1 ML heavy damage, and mostly aircraft groups in cadre after jap attack.
The KB must be returning to Japan before new ops. Today is Dec 10, it must be returnig, he would need about one week, after it all it is possible. But he could detach from KB two CV´s with escorts to Wake Ops.
The jap player is a very conservative player and until now he only attack strongly to Hong Kong, disembark over Guam and air attacked over some malaysian airports. No activity registered over Phillipines or DEI until now.

Suggested plan to China Command-South East Asia Commander
After the falling of Nanning with probably 8 enemy units at Pakhoi (japanese player might be sending reinforcements from Taan), I suggest to my brother to follow the next politics:

This troops must be stand at Nanning with their 100 planing points:

3 War Area
10 Group Army
28 Chinese Corps Assault 243 Supplies 279
91 Chinese Corps Assault 213 Supplies 213

For the other hand, the rest of the force might be marching to Wuchow area, changing their planning objective:

23 Group Army
50 Chinese Corps Assault 240 Supplies 273
21 Chinese Corps Assault 244 Supplies 282

If we can confirm japanese evacuate Pakhoi, then chinese troops from Nanning will march to hold it. Then must be reinforced by 1 chinese base force with air support to let air ops against Hanoi with the escort of P-40 that will be transfered from P.I.
