Blast from the past old boardgames 1970s

Post by Williamb »

I went to that boardgamegeek site and found a list of 1970 era boardgames.

So many of these I played as a kid (showing my age)

Lets see how many of you had the same games.

I had the Tank Battle game! However, I quickly lost most of the little plastic Panthers and M4/76 gamepieces. They died bravely, supporting my intrepid green army men.

War is Hell.

Hehe... played a fair few, although a lot of those never made it across the Atlantic.

My favourites from those would have to be The Fastest Gun (which was far too good for kids), 4000AD (which I was far too young to really appreciate) and Escape from Colditz (best board-game ever - period).
